Last night we saw another Lakeside Classic, as Glen came back from three sets and a break down to produce a comeback of epic proportion against Paul Hogan. At the start Glen was an overwhelming favourite, being world number one. In the first three sets, Paul Hogan was outstanding and didn’t miss a thing, as the outsider was averaging 96 and had a 75% checkout percentage. Glen showed all his battling qualities, and why he is the number one seed, Duzza won the fourth set having survived three match darts against him. From there we saw the real Duzza as he battled his way back into the match, and soon had it all square at three sets all. In the final set, Hogan had the darts, but Glen broke him in the very first leg then held throw. Hogan held his throw to make the number seed serve the match out, and Glen didn’t disappoint. Glen will now play in the quarterfinals on Friday.
